At New England Fastpitch Academy, we are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young athletes. Our mission is to support and guide each player in reaching their full potential, both on and off the field.
About Us
New England Fastpitch Academy is an elite softball travel ball program. We focus on the whole athlete to develop and assist each individual in meeting their athletic and collegiate career goals. By having highly experienced college coaches, club coaches, and high school coaches on staff we meet the needs of every athlete no matter what their aspirations.
Our coaching philosophy holds equity, inclusion, hard work, coachabilty, and integrity at its forefront. Above all our goal is to help our athletes enjoy working hard toward their success and to share our deep love and passion for the game. Participating in athletics should be a transformational experience for young adults. Our program is designed to help our athletes take the skills they learn on the field with them into their classrooms, their workplaces, and their communities. In our view, nothing could be more important than fostering growth and good citizenship in our young people.
NEFPA currently has two separate programs that are designed to match many different athletes skills, desires and commitment to make sure they succeed and feel fulfilled throughout their season playing softball.
Our National Program is a high level, high-intensity program built around the dedication and grit it takes to be an elite athlete. This is an elite skills-based program specifically designed to help athletes put their best foot forward when it comes to college recruiting. The best of the best will travel across the country to play in top level tournaments and showcases that will allow each athlete to be seen on a national spotlight. This program is coached by college coaches that have deep knowledge of the ins and outs of recruiting. A main focus will be on college recruitment and helping you and your athlete navigate the recruiting process from start to finish.
Our Regional Program, is highly focused on developing each athletes skills so they can reach their full potential. This program will stay closer to home with tournaments and showcases focused around MA, NH, CT and RI allowing these athletes to been seen by local colleges. This program is coached by elite travel ball coaches with many years of experience that are dedicated to providing the most competitive showcase schedule our area has to offer.
Nefaspitch at a Glance
Facility
New England Fastpitch Academy owns an indoor facility in Woburn MA that includes 5 Hitting Tunnels, 2 Pitching Tunnels, HitTrax and Rapsodo technology. This state-of-the-art facility allows teams to practice in a place all their own. Having our own space means we can plan practices and skills work as a program, develop a culture, and foster pride for our space. Athletes can come on their own time and always know that there will be the space and equipment necessary for them to train at an elite level.
Included in your team membership you will receive a free membership to New England Hitting and Pitching Academy that will allow you additional times and use of technology outside of your practice time.
Our outdoor facilities include multiple local fields and complexes (with batting cages and lights) that we use for our team practices, friendlies, and scrimmages. These fields have recently been resurfaced and provide high quality playing surfaces.
Having both indoor and outdoor spaces at our fingertips, allows practices in the Fall and Summer to be consistent regardless of weather.

National Program:
18u and 14U
Two National Teams
New England Fastpitch Academy currently has two National Teams. These teams are primarly for athletes looking to excel in a higher level of softball with a desire to play in college. Our 14U and 18U teams each have current top level coached on its staff for Tufts University and Wellsely College as well as former college athletes and local top tier coaches.
Coaching Staff
The coaching staff advantage of our program is something your athlete will see on day one. Our National team is comprised of at least three coaches that include assistance from our college pitching coach, college outfield coach, former college catchers and hitting instructor. This type of coaching staff ensures our practices are fast paced, productive and as an athlete you will always be working to get better.
Regional Program
Highly Competitive Program
This program is designed to be a highly competitive program where our athletes still have the desire to excel on the field, however may either not want the travel commitment of our National Teams, or may need a little more development in certain areas of your game.
Regional Tournaments
Each of our Regional teams will compete in tournaments and showcases around New England and players will have the ability to potentially also play with our National Teams.
